We all need help sometimes. If you suffer from mental health problems, contact these organizations for support. They will listen and give you information and advice.



If you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder, reach for Aware. You can call them at 1800 80 48 48 seven days a week, from 10 am to 10 pm, and take part in weekly Support & Self-care Groups.



Bodywhys is the eating disorders association of Ireland. They give confidential and nonjudgemental support to those affected by eating disorders. You can call them at 1890 200 444 to get help.



Childline is available 24 hours per day to support children and young people up to 18 years. Contact them at 1800 66 66 66 or text to 50101. You can tell them anything, from how you feel to what you’re dealing with within your life.



If you’re a parent or guardian, contact Parentline’s helpline at 1890 927 277. They'll give you support, information, and guidance on all aspects of parenting.


Pieta House

The Pieta House has centers nationwide to prevent self-harm and suicide. You can contact them at 1800 247 247 or text HELP to 51444 and schedule an appointment to talk about your needs. After this chat, they will match you with a therapist. You can meet him for free twice a week depending on availability and will.



Samaritans is a confidential emotional support organization you can contact at 116 123. Call if you’re feeling despair, distressed, or even suicidal. They’re available 24 hours a day for anyone in the United Kingdom and Ireland and have online services as well.
